Clyde Meeks, MD
Dr Meeks was born and raised in Amarillo TX. He married his wife Brenda in 1974. They have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. His interest in medicine was rekindled while working as a Firefighter and Paramedic for the Amarillo Fire Department.
He attended Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He then completed his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Texas Tech Health Science Center in Amarillo.
Dr Meeks has been in private practice since 1992. He became a founding partner of Women’s Healthcare Associates in 1996. He has served as Chief of the OB/GYN Department at both Northwest Texas Hospital and Baptist Saint Anthony’s Hospital. He has also served on the Executive Committee and Quality Improvement Committee of both hospitals. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is Board Certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
