Rhodesia Castillo, MD
Dr. Rhodesia Castillo is a native Texan and has lived in Amarillo for over twenty years. After completing high school in a small town outside of Houston, she attended Austin College in Sherman, Texas and earned a BA in biology in 1982. She obtained her medical degree from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1986, and completed her internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center of Amarillo in 1990. Dr. Castillo is board certified by the American Board of OB/GYN.
After spending her residency in Amarillo and meeting her future husband here, she started her private practice in OB/GYN in 1991 and became one of the founding partners of Women’s Healthcare Associates in 1996.
Dr. Castillo and her husband have three children. When not seeing patients or delivering babies, they occupy the majority of her free time. She enjoys time spent with her family members throughout Texas and anything creative that can be done on her trusty iPad.
