Dr. Carin Appel has been practicing with Women’s Healthcare Associates since 2003. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She practices general obstetrics and gynecology and enjoys both delivering babies and performing surgery.

She is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Texas A&M University. She graduated with honors from Texas A&M University Health Sciences Center medical school. She then obtained her speciality training through Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

She is married to Dr. Kevin Appel, an optometrist with Advanced Eye Care, and has two wonderful children, Aleah and Reade. She enjoys hiking, gardening and spending time at the lake.
