For women, their reproductive system and genitalia can play a big part in their quality of life. Childbirth, hormonal changes, and age can cause sudden changes in the elasticity of the vaginal tissue. This is termed vaginal laxity. This loss of elasticity can result in urinary incontinence, decreased lubrication, and a loss of sensation.
